Ilex aquifolium Golden Van Tol

Ilex aquifolium 'Golden van Tol' or Holly 'Golden van Tol' is a broad, upright, evergreen tree or large shrub with almost spineless, dark green leaves that are attractively margined with yellow and bright red berries in late autumn if planted next to or close by a male variety of Ilex. This low maintenance shrub can be grown as a stand alone specimen, within the mixed border or used for hedging.
