Choisya ternata

Choisya ternata is an evergreen shrub known as the 'Mexican Orange Blossom' for the clusters of white, star-shaped, highly fragrant flowers with orange centres, which are similar to that of the closely related orange both in shape and scent produced in spring and often again in late summer or autumn.

This handsome and easy to grow evergreen shrub has the most wonderful aromatic, shiny green leaves and would provide an excellent backdrop in perennial or mixed borders, providing it has full sun or partial shade.

It would also make an excellent hedge and is great in city gardens as it tolerates pollution.
