Clematis 'Fuji-musume' is a non-evergreen variety which deserves a prominent spot in the garden to appreciate the beautiful, slightly scented, large "true blue" flowers which are freely produced from June to July, then again in September.
This Clematis can be grown in a container with bamboo canes or an obelisk for support, or trained against a wall, fence or trellis.
Clematis 'Fujimusume' was raised by Seijuro Arai of Japan. The name 'Fujimusume' means 'Girl Under Wisteria Bloom' and is the title of a girl's solo dance.
