Taxodium distichum Cascade Falls

Taxodium distichum 'Cascade Falls' otherwise known as the Weeping Bald Cypress or Swamp Cypress is a compact, weeping tree whose branches hang outwards and then weep towards the ground.

Flat, dark green, needle-like leaves turn an attractive rusty-brown colour before falling in autumn.

'Cascade Falls' will require staking to the desired height so that the branches can weep, as if left unsupported, they would sprawl along the ground as ground cover.
