Podocarpus chilinus County Park Fire
Podocarpus chilinus 'County Park Fire' is a low, spreading, evergreen, coniferous shrub with needle-like leaves, emerging creamy-yellow on red shoots in spring, turning pink and then green by summer and bronze-red in autumn. Small flowers in summer are followed by bright red fruit in autumn.
How to grow
This colourful shrub will tolerate a wide range of soils, but grows best in moist but well-drained soil in full sun with shelter from cold, drying winds. It can be planted within the mixed bed, border for architectural interest and is very easy to maintain.
