Chamaecyparis obtusa 'Confucius' is a slow growing, upright, conifer of a broad, pyramid-shaped habit with dense sprays of bright golden yellow leaves which appear darker towards the centre of the plant.

This easy to grow evergreen can be used as hedging or planted within the mixed border for structural interest.
