Clematis Perle D'Azur

Perle d'Azur is a wonderful old-fashioned Clematis, capable of giving a great cascading effect when allowed to scramble. It produces masses of sky blue flowers fading to pink-blue over a long period from July to September.

How to grow

Clematis Perle d'Azur can be planted in most situations but does best when planted in full sun, but with its roots in shade.  It likes a free-draining soil and regular watering.

As with most late-flowering Clematis, it benefits from hard-pruning in January or February - cut it right back to 40cm-50cm. It will readily reach a height of 4m or more.
