Clematis 'Capitaine Thuilleaux' or 'Souvenir du Capitaine Thuilleaux' as it can also be known has the most striking, large, pale pink flowers with wavy edged petals with a broad, vibrant stripe during May, June and again in September.

This non-evergreen climber can be grown against a trellis, garden fence, wall, arches, pillars, pergolas, clambering over tree stumps and through large shrubs or planted in a container trained up bamboo canes or an obelisk.

Clematis 'Capitaine Thuilleaux' or 'Souvenir du Capitaine Thuilleaux' was raised by J. Thuilleaux of France and named after a son killed in the First World War.
